CONDOR 3000 - placing FX-003 - Versie 0.7 Dutch

The trunking version of the Se-550 does not have a FX003 on board. Therefore it's not possible to detect & react to 5TVO codes. The FX-003 is very simple to build into the SE-550 although some knowledge of soldering and SMD is required.

Below a partslist and components placement (PICTURE-1 & PICTURE-2). At the bottum of the partslist there is a enlargement of the parts in there place. As seen only on picture-1.

The horizontale component at the bottum of picture-1 is C11 and the verticale is R13.

There are different PC-boards. Look at the number on the PCB.
Most of the trunking versions have a number ending with 070.018B.
See here the PCB version 070.016B.

It is hard to get a original socket for the FX003. It is easyer to cut a smaller socket to fit to the PCB. Mind the space required for Q2 !

After putting in these parts two other components have to be removed
below you can see wich these are;
Top picture shows the bridge K that has to be closed.





This is the technical modification.
Now you only have to modify the datafile so Quiting will be possible.
